All the more reason you need to come to Texas, Pete: we have a plethora of tacos and fajitas, and even fajita tacos! Plus, you're not likely to lose feeling in your extremities from walking about in the bitter cold.
Come to Texas! Come to Teeeexxxxxaaaassssss, she whispered. :-)

I came because of the taco bribe image expecting to find talk of tacos. I was not disappointed. This plan of yours sounds like a mighty fine plan. I approve.

Not enough partying.
My plan includes: Leave work at 5, change/get food/head to friends house close to venue, pre game, pre game some more.
GO SEE TCHAMI
????
Wake up tomorrow.

There's a little store/deli in my building that normally serves some type or hot lunch. Today it was a chicken quesadilla and some red beans and rice. While the quesadilla was good, the rice was on another level. I want to go back and just buy the rest of the pot of it.
I'm a pretty adequate cook, and enjoy making all kinds of stuff. I just know I can't do a good Mexican dish justice. And unfortunately I don't have any good Mexican places around me, and that makes me sad. I want AYCE tacos and rice.

You poor child. Those aren't tacos! Those barely even qualify as safe for human consumption.
We really need to create an international taco delivery service. How soon do you think Star Trek-esque teleportation will become a viable reality? Lol.

what is the difference between a Taco and a Fajita Taco?

Lucky you! I'm working for another 2 hours, then eating my cold oats, then working for another.. until 5, then off to the gym for back and arm day, then home to cook dinner which is unfortunately not tacos :(

That's like asking what the difference is between a vehicle and a Miata. All Miatas are vehicles, but not all vehicles are Miatas. ^_^
Also, fajitas aren't always served up as filling for tacos.

I mean are we even sure that they do actually qualify as safe for human consumption?

Well, Pete is somewhere in the great northern wasteland that is Canada. I think they actually have food quality standards up there. ^_~

I met a friend (who recently got laid off) for a leisurely lunch at a nice German restaurant with delicious beers on tap. I had a Franziskaner Dunkel and a warm corned beef, salami and swiss sandwich with spicy mustard and rotkohl on the side. He's staying positive, in spite of it all; hilariously, one of the few things he grabbed as HR was escorting him out was an article I'd brought him about the Porsche 914 (his dad has one when he was a kid). We took our time, had a great conversation and some laughs, and had a cup of coffee after we were done.
Good food, a good beer, and a good discussion with a good friend. More of life should be filled with these moments.
First round's on me if you're ever in Tulsa.
